We tweaked the designs of proven technology from years past to produce the Boulder X. Additional padding underfoot for long approaches and uber sticky rubber add deluxe comfort and performance. The Vibram® Idro-Grip compound stays sticky on every type of rock even when wet. The all leather uppers and sticky rubber toe rands offer durable protection. Ideal protection and performance built for the rigors and abuse of the mountains.

This model belongs to the La Sportiva approach category. It is ideal for use on rocky terrain, but is also the perfect companion for leisure activities, thanks to its particularly comfortable fit and the aggressive design which has been meticulously studded. The upper is a combination of suede leather and fabric. The boot uses an asymmetric, to the toe lacing system to guarantee a precise and snug fit. The protective rubber inserts on the heel and toe contribute to protecting the foot from ground impact while the FirXion® AT sole incorporates the Impact Brake System which reduces negative impact on terrain and helps keep foot slippage in check. At the front of the sole there is a special “Climbing Zone”, particularly effective on approach routes to graces and for easy climbs.
